I usually don’t work on Sundays, but last week I was watching one of George Kao’s videos that made me stop in my tracks, pick up my notebook and start writing this article like crazy.
George is a business coach, and my current mentor by the way. He was talking about how our lack of confidence influences our capacity to make an income in our business.
And then he said something about the imposter syndrome:
Do you need to invest in getting a professionally designed logo right now?
It all depends on which stage of your business you’re in, but also on why you want a logo in the first place.
There are many reasons why we want to have a logo:
It will make us look more professional. It will make us look more experienced. Everyone that is a big name has a logo, right?
On top of that, designing a logo it’s a fun, creative process…
…and we all could do with a bit more fun in our business.
But we can also want to have a logo for the wrong reasons.
I can only say good things about having your own proprietary process
It changed my life.
I created my first signature process (my F.A.C.I.L. Career Change system) back in 2009 while attending “Purposeful Branding Secrets” with Marcia Bench. It was my very first encounter with the idea of a signature system.
And it made such a difference!
But what is exactly a signature system? And more importantly, why should you care?
Are you afraid of talking about your work?
Well,… as solopreneurs we don’t have a choice.
We have to put ourselves out there, share our message and spread the word about our work.
And when you do, guess who else is also going to show up with you?
